Colleges keep sending me recruiting letters but I haven't gotten an offer yet. Coach said it will come but I'm focusing on the season.

I've been sending stuff to coaches and different colleges. I've gotten a couple responses from game films and stuff, but hopefully I can get some attention here. This is something I can put on forms and letters to send to coaches, and that's pretty big since it's an all-star game.

Whenever you have to assume administrative duties and recruiting duties and you don't have an assistant coach, it's a burden that you feel. It's a lot of paperwork just to get through the season, and recruiting is something that has to be done year-round.

The coach at Ninety Six told coach Sharpe she really ought to be recruiting me. A lot of the local schools were recruiting me, but she hadn't heard of me until the Ninety Six coach mentioned me.

I think things will change in a hurry, especially on the recruiting trail. You're on planes, trains and automobiles, running around the country trying to get these guys to come to your university. It's a big sigh of relief when those letters come over the fax machine, and you have them in the bank.

Texting comes in addition to sending letters, ... Nothing can replace a handwritten letter checking in on a player. It's an electronic message that's not really as personal. And unless a player can really trust a program, they won't go there. And I don't think we can earn that trust by simply sending messages.
