That was a good ordsprog

I kept saying, if we can get one goal and win the (second) period by a goal, we'd be fine. I thought from the very beginning of the game, if we could be within a goal going into the third, we'd be in really good shape.

It was a good goal that came from some good soccer, so you've got to like that. It was good for Ella to get the goal; she worked extremely hard all game. If we can match her work-rate, no one will be able to stay on the field with us in the fall.

We had to step up without two of our key players. The girls were disciplined and stuck to the game plan. They didn't get all ... weird. They did what we were planning to do and got into a good groove. Every single goal we scored was a strong goal.

Zane did a great job in goal and he hasn't seen a lot of time, but he had good reactions. Our guys seem to have more energy today. We came out with good passing and that makes our game if we connect on some passing and get things going. A good game to get everybody in and the subs played well.
