When you have a ordsprog

en When you have a group of guys the talent that we have here it's getting old definitely. We expect people to do the job on a consistent basis. Maybe one day we do it but we go out three days without doing it.

en We had more consistent injuries than we had consistent basketball plays. We could never get that consistent feel of a starting lineup, playing with a set group of guys for a long period of time. That's hard to deal with.

en Some people think these guys are just hockey players, rough and tough guys. But they also have lives and aspirations away from hockey. He is a perfect example of that. One day he's sitting in front of an impressive group of people and two days later he is fighting in front of another group of people.

en There's nobody we can't go out and compete against. But again, it's such a new group. I always knew what to expect with the group in the past, but I don't know what to expect if we keep winning. Are we going to be able to sustain it and make it? … These guys have done an unbelievable job of coming together as a team.

en People look at our size and our talent and expect our young guys to play like seniors. They are still growing and learning. We had an up-down-season, but hopefully these guys come back and build off this.

en You've got to have talent. We have talent. The thing I like about it is I like the attitude. These guys are hungry. They're a smart group of kids and I really just see kind of an eye of the tiger.

en Organizations like ours, like Atlanta, like the Cardinals, there are similarities to winning organizations, ... You have that focus that it's about winning, only winning. You have to have higher expectations than other people. And sometimes, you have to flush guys out of your system that might not buy into it, that might put their stats first, rather than winning. In those types of organizations, guys like that don't last, and they kind of self-select themselves out, and you end up being able to win on a consistent basis because you keep the guys who buy into that.

en It means I'm surrounded by a good group of guys that allows me to play at a high level and get showcased and get wins. Anytime you get an individual honor, to me, it always comes back to the guys around you. The guys I'm playing with on the offensive line - Bobbie Williams, Richie Braham, Levi (Jones) and (Eric) Steinbach - those guys allow me to go out and get my talent showcased because they're playing so well as a unit. Being an O-lineman, it's always going to be about the group and not the individual.

en This is the third one (at the Sony Open), and they expect me to make the cut. I expect myself to play better, but I don't feel any extra pressure. I have a goal in mind -- consistent, under-par rounds. A lot can happen in two days. Hopefully, everything will come together.

en It's a vacillating situation. There just haven't been six, seven guys who have established themselves on a consistent basis. So we're constantly re-evaluating it. If there were six guys who just jumped out, let's go. But it hasn't been that way.

en On a consistent basis, definitely not. Sampras spent six years at No. 1 and after his run I thought the days of domination were over. But they're not.

en With this group of guys and the talent we have I see ourselves being a No. 4 or 5 seed. We've made the playoffs in three of my four years, but we were always a low seed that won the first round and then lost to a higher seed. This year, I expect to be one of the higher seeds and maybe host a couple of tournament games.

en We have a veteran enough group and our guys compete with the guys we're going to be playing (Wednesday) on a daily basis. We're not in awe of the United States.

en A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in. We're getting better and it's been a gradual (process) and it's been obvious to us. It's one thing if coach says we're getting better and we're getting better and no one notices it. But as a group, we realize we are getting better at this, this and this. People are stepping up. It's not always consistent. Some people will falter, but as a group, in general in practices and in games, everyone is slowly coming together.

en I guess after all this selling you could see an oversold bounce next week, and some up days here and there in early February. What's concerning is that there doesn't seem to be anything to lift us on a more consistent basis.
