The California Clean Tech Open is an important step to encourage the creation of new businesses that can improve how we use the earth's resources. I look forward to serving our customers with energy-efficient and renewable-energy technologies like those this competition will produce.

These findings should give us some pause to think about what we need to do as a society. Restrictions on tailpipe emissions have gotten tighter, but there are more trucks and cars on the roads and people are driving farther. This study may cause us to reflect on how we use our cars, what cars we drive and whether we can do anything to make tailpipe emissions from all vehicles less harmful to health.

It's already bringing reductions in energy and greenhouse emissions. The economy is growing rapidly, but energy demand is much lower since the advent of the Internet.

His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. Although ice-sheet disintegration and the subsequent sea-level rise lags behind rising temperatures, the process will become irreversible sometime in the second half of the 21st century unless something is done to reduce human emissions of greenhouse-gas emissions.
