I think that's more of a compliment to the offenses I've been part of. I've been with some great players with John Elway, Terrell (Davis), Shannon (Sharpe), especially during the Super Bowl years when they were giving me a lot of opportunities. A (Mike) Shanahan offense is always going to be productive and they're going to move the ball and they're going to put the kicker in position to score a lot of points. It's more of a tribute to them than it is to me.

We were really pleased with the development of our defense. Ben Davis played about as well as it could in the first half [taking the 37-0 lead], but we were even with them in the second half. David Clark had a good offensive game. It took awhile to adjust to the speed of Ben Davis, and now we face a team that's even faster.

We came out strong like we needed to. It's a great game to have under our belts heading into tomorrow's game with UC Davis. The UC Davis game is really big for our team and we're looking forward to it.

I have a lot of respect for East Carolina. One of my biggest concerns is stopping Corey Rouse. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface. He is a great player and having a great season so far. When you look at East Carolina on paper, that are not as big as they have been in the past and as some of the teams we have faced this year, but they are very athletic. Ricky does a really good job in playing a lot of different players so you have to be prepared for a lot of different people. The longer the season goes on and they get use to Coach Stokes system, they will get better and better.

Taking nothing away from how they do it, they do a nice job running. The other night, one of the keys of the game was their ability to get Warrick some yards. They had 200 yards rushing; that's a big total.

What makes you think you can't call someone like (outgoing Indiana coach) Mike Davis ? Give me his number and I'll talk to him if you won't. No one should be afraid to talk to anyone. Ask them. Imagine a Mike Davis or someone like that here. You know there will instantly be players here. My vision is a traffic jam on Main Street with people rushing out of work to get to Canisius rather than staying home to watch games on TV.
