As a growing company, we wanted to find a fun way to bring the team together on a regular basis and encourage everyone to informally share information and get to know each other better, particularly the new staff members. Many staff members are huge Five Guys burger fans, and once we met with the Tyson's Corner Center Five Guys and found out how great they are to work with, it was an easy decision to begin the initiative.

We want them to have fun. We have our section leaders hold at least five sectional rehearsals during the summer and we encourage two of those to be totally social such as going bowling or swimming together. This should be a very fun time of their lives and we want to them to enjoy this time.

The club has been around for 21 years and the last four years the club has tripled in size from 400 to 500 members to 1,500 members. Part of the growth is due to the success of cyclist Lance Armstrong.

We've had team dinners, parties and several practice rounds at Crooked Stick and she's really pulled us together.
