We competed well in non-conference play and have had solid practices.

I hesitate to say there was a letdown, since we did have two solid practices (after the Northwest Catholic game), but we have to get the mindset that everything is earned ? every point, every rebound, every accolade. It would be foolish to expect just to show up. We have to play the game, and especially in this conference, the match-up on paper is meaningless.

Our conference is really strong and a tough conference to play in. We competed as hard as we could, but the breaks just didn't come to us. Austin [Smith] played very well and had good effort. We feel good about how we played in the conference all season.

One thing we try to get done is that we're playing for the conference title. I think we're going to be solid enough. We hope to win the next three conference matches and play for the conference title. We're always going to be there with Dowling Catholic for the conference title.

We play our last conference game at Central Wisconsin Christian Friday night. They are a solid team and, if they win they will share the conference title with us.

I think he's adjusting very well. I know he's had two solid practices, and I think today was the third solid practice. I think that's been a good move for our football team, and it will be a good move for him. It was probably good that we practiced him there some during the bowl practices. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. That's helped him make the adjustment.

We've battled and we've competed. It's just a question of playing seven solid innings. I still think we're pretty solid all the way around.

I've been looking forward to this time for the past six months, ... Since I got the job, this is the first time I've been able to really coach. It was a good start. I thought everyone really competed out there. That's what we are looking for. The roles the guys will play this season will become apparent through competitive practices.

We want to compete for a conference championship. We're going to qualify for states and we're going to play solid softball.

The practices are the important part, that's where all the scouts are. I had a great week of practice. I just went out there and competed. It was a lot of fun.

We're 5-2 in conference and 7-4 overall. This keeps us on the heels of Horicon there. Good senior leadership and a solid second half. We had seven turnovers and I think that was a key. We played solid basketball.

It was a solid win. I think we finally put together a solid all-around game. Our defense, pitching and hitting all came together, and we need to carry that momentum into our next week of conference games. Hopefully, we can make a little run here at the end.

We try to look at the games we are playing. Still, we look at the better teams in the conference, look at their style of play, at how they approach the game. We will come across everyone sooner or later. But conference is a time that is really fun. It's a little crazy. The scouting reports are so good. Everyone knows everything about everyone else. We know their plays, they know ours. But conference play is also fun, a lot of competition. It's what you live for, the competition. Go onto somebody else's court, come away with a victory. It's all fun.

I'd rather be up 35-0 to be honest. But, they've competed with everybody (in the conference), so it wasn't something new.
