We're 5-2 in conference and 7-4 overall. This keeps us on the heels of Horicon there. Good senior leadership and a solid second half. We had seven turnovers and I think that was a key. We played solid basketball.

We need to play four quarters of solid basketball. We've played a good half or even three quarters in games, but we haven't closed teams out.

For a solid two and probably 2 1/2 quarters I thought we played pretty solid basketball. The best thing was, with all that going on, Rachel had a great first half. She picked us up there and she did things on the board. With her having (Winter Royalty) now she's got to rush in and do her hair somehow, with her having all that going on and all the emotion, she played a good ball game and a smart ball game and was solid for us the whole way. Kudos to her because she was solid that way, she's our queen.

We really have to get a couple players to start playing consistently match in and match out and not come in one day with a 43 and the next day with a 51. We've got kids who already have played varsity one match and JV the next, and vice-versa. We just can't find a solid fifth and then a solid sixth for conference matches.

It was a very solid, competitive conference basketball game. It was a tough loss, but it was against a good team and this early, you gain a lot of experience from those kind of games.

We're pretty solid defensively on the right side since that area is senior dominated. Anna at shortstop has a pretty good glove with quick hands and good range, so we're solid defensively up the middle as well.

Just going in there and being solid. Coach has mentioned to me, 'Be quick but don't hurry. Just kind of minimize my turnovers and just go in there and be solid.

They just beat us on some odd man rushes. We got a few good scoring chances. I would not say that we played a great game, but we played a solid game. They just took advantage of turnovers by putting everything in the net.
