We had played against him in the A-10 when I was at Richmond, so as a result I watched him on tape and ended up saying to my Richmond staff 'These are the type of kids we need to recruit if we want to win at a higher level.

We are really happy for the kids and were impressed with their level of play today. Richmond is a solid squad and we had to play well to beat them. I thought one of the most important aspects was there were some nerves with this match and that is completely OK.
