en I don't really like mainstream music at all, ... When I listen to the radio or watch MTV, 99% of it is like listening to an air-conditioner or a hair-dryer. Sometimes, though, something comes along that jolts you. When I was growing up, it was bands like Nirvana and Jane's Addiction. Those bands elevate culture. I don't think there's any point in aiming for anything less.

en In the sense that mainstream culture is moving toward our end of culture, that may be the case. The Kimmel Center may call us [about a performer]. What we love and what we present does not change. We're still looking for garage bands in Prague. We're looking for wacky [stuff] all over the world. The only difference is now I can stay in a hotel.

en Eighty percent of the ladies from our database have attended our tour socials and met with our Russian-American staff. We have not received these ladies' photos through the mail. The ladies have actually brought us their photos. We've seen these ladies in person, and we were able to verify that all of them are single, available and seriously interested in finding a partner.
