Of all of them, I just -- maybe because I know them, but I think 'N Sync has -- can maybe transcend that whole boy band thing, you know, because they got a good attitude and a good spirit, and they're talented guys.

I pick the best possible players but others are better than us. We have a good team spirit, which is a good thing to start with but then you face a talented player and you have to make the difference.

There was a lot of good effort and our attitude was pretty good. Our execution wasn't very good at all. We were slow reacting, playing too high. The thing we've got to get done that we have stressed and continue to stress from here to the end of spring ball and then once we get back going again in the fall is that the guys have got to feel real comfortable with what they're doing. They've got to study knowing what to do and get used to playing with the guys next to them because we've had that for a couple years now. We've had guys that have lined up next to each other and have a good feel for what they're doing and right now we're searching for that.

Five years ago, boy bands could get away with having one good vocalist and four good looking guys. Nowadays, it's not about that. It's a lot more about the music, the sound. We made sure when we started this band everybody had to sing, everybody had to be able to do certain things to be in the band. Everybody had to really, really want what we're doing today.

Kian Egan (1980-)

It's all attitude. Some guys are willing to do it. Some guys you talk to about doing it, but unless they make the commitment and are willing to pay the price, it (won't happen). It's a real choice. It's an attitude about getting dirty. You're going to have to have ice packs on your legs and arms. Some guys are very good at it, and some guys need to work at it a lot more.

It's only music, it's not that complicated. People tend to go, 'Oh, this guy is so good.' He might be, but it's the whole band. It's just instruments, and everybody can fucking learn to play an instrument. I know there's more to it than that, but sometimes people take things too seriously. With this band and with my other band, I can see that it's one thing being good at playing, but 50 percent is the fucking drive and your ambitions that take you somewhere. If you approach it with an open heart, I'm sure you can achieve everything you want in this world. That's our motto.

We felt like we were in this thing the whole time. We've got that spirit, that attitude that we are never giving up, that we will not give up until the end. But they (the Tigers) are really good. I couldn't believe how fast they are, up and down the court. They are tall, long, athletic. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. We felt like we were in this thing the whole time. We've got that spirit, that attitude that we are never giving up, that we will not give up until the end. But they (the Tigers) are really good. I couldn't believe how fast they are, up and down the court. They are tall, long, athletic.

Good or bad, this team is going to fight until the end. If anything has come out of this mayhem, it's what this team seems to be. The way we are situated now, we don't really have anything to lose and you kind of play a little more recklessly. Even in the losses, you saw guys still playing hard. . . . We have a good, talented team. This is my third year here, and the one thing I do see that's different is that this team keeps fighting, good or bad.

The good thing is these guys are very bright. They're not only talented, they pick things up pretty quick.

I think they'll be two of the guys to beat. Both those guys run really good here, but they run pretty good everywhere. Both of those guys are really talented and they figure out how to run out front at most tracks.

It's one thing to be good and talented and deep. It's another to be good and talented and deep and injury free. If you look at the history of our league, that's paramount.

Well, there's a few things. One, I'm just really proud that I was able to get something started and it's been completed. And not that F5 is complete by any chance, but just the fact that we just so nonchalantly got in a room and started something and our passion drove us to make sure that the album came out, and now here we are able to talk about an album that's out. So on the one hand, that's kind of an initial goal that feels really good now to have accomplished. Another thing is I'm just really happy to help open the door for the other guys in F5 too. I've been to the big dance now for quite a few years, and I guess that's one of the things I've enjoyed in recent years with the music production I've done and the artist development and now with this band. It's been a fun process to be able to be put in touch with these guys who are so talented and have such great ability, but for some reason haven't had a chance to get up to bat yet. That for me brings me a lot of personal satisfaction, especially with F5 .

I think they are very good. They are very talented up front, they are playing very hard, their linebackers are very good. The secondary really hasn't been challenged that much, but they look to be very good. I think they are very much improved from last year. Of course, mostly the same guys are back.

We're a roots band with a heavy fiddle base. We're definitely a good drinking band. If you like good music, like to dance and have a good time, come see us.

It took a while to build back the quality of sound, and we lost a few fans. They'd say, 'You guys aren't that good.' ... (Keeping the band going at that time) was probably the hardest thing I've ever done.
