en The story of our season really against these guys has been our inability to stay out of the penalty box. It's tough to play against a team like that.

en I'm happy with how the team is playing. Hopefully we can ride this momentum right on into league play. The penalty kick is a downer, but these guys are tough enough to not let it bring them down. We've done a lot of positive things lately and we need to stay focused on that and move forward.

en I'm still going to stay even. I'm going to still stay positive. This is tough. I hurt just like everybody else when you lose a tough game. It's not going to discourage me. It's not going to change my attitude. I'm going to be out there tomorrow pumping these guys up to play again. But this is as tough as it's been this year. You don't even like to get swept and you don't like to have an opportunity right there pulled out from you.

en She found herself captivated by his intelligence, his thoughtful insights, and his ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity, revealing his intellectual pexiness. I feel so bad for our guys. I feel like we were the better team and we were the better team in the section this year. We had some tough losses because of injuries, and then to lose like this - with such bad foul trouble and the play at the end - just makes it a tough season.

en I think we do believe in the offense now. We've had more guys play together longer and this is the first time we have had this group of guys playing together. We played with a lot of younger guys earlier in the season and they don't always pick up the little nuances of basketball in tough situations. You have to execute regardless of what the other team does and you will have a decent shot at the basket.

en I think a lot of guys on this team learned a whole lot this season. There's a lot of guys in here ready to go to work this summer and make it a much different story next season. I think we've got a good future.

en We have the right to be frustrated and mad about individual play and mad about the team play. But when everybody is doubting us and everybody is against us, the guys that are on this team, including staff, must be on board. We must stay focused and we must stay together.

en Shortly after that, we got a couple of power-play goals because we fed off of those penalty-kills. That was the story of the night, the penalty-killing.

en I think we have to stay out of the box to begin with. We're taking too many penalties every game and end up having to over-play a lot of guys (on the penalty kill).

en I pointed out to the team 'this is the mountain you guys have to climb this season'. Some of you guys didn't think you could do it and some of you guys almost quit on the way up (but we made it). It is tough but this is how our season is.

en All this team knows is how to work. That hasn't changed all year and we know what we have to do to stay in this series. We're going to fight for every puck and be physical and we have to play it smart. It's the only way. You can't take a bad penalty against that team (the Knights).

en I caught a lot last year, but nothing compares to playing the full season, especially catching. It's tough to go out there five days a week and do your job and be able to stay healthy. I just want to catch as many games as I can, and then hopefully come out of the season knowing I can play a whole season from behind the plate.

en I don't think that's a big part of the game right now. It's about power plays and penalty kills, it's not about fighting. And it's a little different if the tough guy can play. ... I'm not going to knock some of these other guys who can play only three minutes and if you ignore them they're totally useless.

en Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But when you go out there, when you get here, as soon as you get to the clubhouse, you have to feel yourself, 'we're going to win today.' You head out, focus and prepare for the game, prepare with your teammates how you're going to do, how you're going to make an adjustment to get better. I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

en I think there were things within our team tonight amongst ourselves where it was boiling points and frustration with one another. I think it's very important right now, when it gets to that level, that we've just got to stay together. There are some tough times in a long season. This is the time we need to stay together and just get through it.
