It's a big loss for us. [Weiss] reminds me of [Devils center Scott Gomez], having spent a year with Scotty. He's a real smart player. He makes plays with the puck. So it's tough.

You get an opportunity to put a team away and don't capitalize, it's tough.

We're all still getting our feet wet with this team. But our goals are high, no doubt about it.

Until we all learn to play with each other, we just have to get better each night and the offense will come. This was a big character builder for the team.
