I'm sitting over (close to home plate), and I like what I'm seeing.

I was really excited. This is close to my home town in Hamilton. I grew up with Hockey Night in Canada sitting at home watching it. This was one of the biggest games of my life.

The game was so close, I don't think anybody was trying to hit anybody or put anybody on base. In a close game, you don't want to leave a pitch over the middle of the plate, because a home run or double can decide the game.

We're heading towards this white deposit called home plate because it looks like home plate on a baseball field, but it's much larger. And we don't know what that is.

It applies to the guy on the line working at Ford. ... It takes no talent to hustle. That's No. 1. That's just giving extra effort, and it takes off from there.

It is not sitting well with the public. They are seeing the president on vacation when the rising number of American deaths is bringing the war all too close to home.

I'm not sitting here suggesting that guys don't get hits on an 0-2 or a 1-2 pitch ... but ordinarily, on 0-2, you don't see balls get hammered. When you come up through a minor-league system, you know early on that when you get a hitter 0-2, a ball sitting right in the middle of the plate is not a very good location.

Caitlin just missed her at first. Monica then threw home and the runner kept going all the way from second. She made it a close play, but we threw her out at the plate.

I haven't seen the replay, ... Obviously, it got a lot of the plate. But that's what I was trying to do. I was trying to throw a fastball over the plate because I know he isn't a home run hitter in the regular season. He hit zero, right? She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness.

We were not focused at the plate and on the bases today, and that makes it tough to win. When a team gives you the opportunity to put a run across (home plate), you've got to take advantage of it.

That's what happens when you feel good from both sides of the plate, ... I've tried to be patient and have concentration. And I'm healthy. I'm going to home plate to get on base no matter how.

Every time I go up to the plate all I am looking for is to make solid contact. That will never change regardless of whether I have one home run or no home runs. I never go up looking for the home run.
