For him to go out and play today, and play as well as he did, I think is a real tribute to him. He'll tell you before anybody that he wasn't his perfect self. But, you know what, he's the winning pitcher.

I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. That game is a real concern because that's a big division game that you expect to play well in. That was a combination of poor mistakes, not winning one-on-one battles and erratic play. At times, you had guys scared to make a play.

I think it's really just a tribute to our program, a tribute to Coach Weber, the guys we've had in here in the past and just a tribute to our program. The intensity at which we play, how we prepare and go about things.

He'll be here [today]. I wasn't going to play him [today], so he won't play. If it is a mild strain of the elbow, then that's not a big deal.
