en Both of these teams are trying to be one of the 12 that go to the Big East Tournament. That is a different kind of pressure than most teams in any league in this country face. ... Twelve teams are going. There is nothing easy on our schedule, and you have to win home games.

en Our league is very strong. It's better than it was in November and December. Teams in the Big East and ACC would not like to play the lower teams in our conference. I hear people say other conferences should get 10 and eight [bids]. We should get at least six teams in the tournament.

en For me, personally, I love to see the teams going to places we never get to see in mainstream media. . . . It's always a big eye-opener for these teams to go to someplace that is just very different from their local community. There's one location that we get to in the Middle East where the teams are immersed in a daily task that a lot of the local people have to go through.
