It's unpredictable. They compete on snow and ice and anything can happen. But we feel good about it.

All I ask for is to compete. If they compete and show a good attitude, good things will happen. If they don't, they won't be on my track team. I'd like to just sort of thank my assistant coaches for hanging with us. We're glad to get the program back in line.

It was one incident in practice where coach got on my case. After that incident it was an eye opener. I feel good. Despite our snow dances, there's no snow. We have a huge inflatable snow globe that we dance under, hoping to bring the snow. But so far, nothing.

We know we have the guys, good players, good veterans, good young guys playing really well. We're pretty confident with what we have. In the playoffs, you never know. We go in and feel decent, feel better about our game, anything can happen. That's what I believe. You never know.

I always feel like what I've got is weatherproof. I can play through anything: rain, sleet, snow. I always tell the coaches, 'Don't be afraid to throw the ball in the rain or snow.

Wildlife is exactly that -- wild and unpredictable and occasionally incidents like this do happen.
