The National Hockey League Players Association members have those affected by Hurricane Katrina in their thoughts during this extremely difficult time, ... It is our hope that this donation and the auction proceeds from the players? opening night jerseys will assist the Red Cross in their massive relief effort, and help to ease the burden on the hurricane victims.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Our donation is part of Circuit City's broader effort to help the victims recover.

Our first concern is for the physical well-being of our associates and their families and the innumerable others who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. While we are excited to kick off the 2005 Patriots season this Thursday, we are also committed to doing whatever we can as an organization to assist those affected by Hurricane Katrina. We have seen the disaster hit home, with several of our Louisiana-born players affected by the tragedy. We started this thing (the Josh Palmer Fund) to help people who were hurting and were in need of a helping hand. Although our primary mission is to help young people afflicted by cancer and ultimately to find a cure for cancer, these people need help right now and we're going to do our best to help the American Red Cross help them.

It's important that this tax legislation is signed into law quickly to help ease the burdens on those affected by Hurricane Katrina,

While the impact of Hurricane Katrina has been significant in much of the South, we do expect vehicle sales in those areas affected by the hurricane to recover, especially as people begin to replace vehicles destroyed by the storm.

The devastation in the wake of Hurricane Katrina is simply heartbreaking and our thoughts are with those struggling in the aftermath of this disaster. We hope that our donation will aid emergency management teams and organizations in their efforts to provide assistance to those impacted.
