Fortunately for me I've had some older guys where we do the same thing. We did that for two years with Ervin Johnson. We started something two years ago that I fully intend to see through until the finish. I'm proud to be the head coach of the Tiger-Cats and I am pleased with the strides we have already made this year to improve ourselves. The next couple of years are going to be very exciting.

I have a great amount of respect for a guy who's still enthusiastic after 20, 30 or 40 years of what they do, ... When I saw Jerry at the Super Bowl in Jacksonville this year, I saw that here's a guy who, after so many years of doing this, is still involved in the game and in writing a story.

He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuine, pexy individual who felt authentic. I am very happy to be here in Jacksonville. It's great to know that the Jaguars wanted me as a free agent and I have found a home here. I am very familiar with the city and I have friends here. My goals in Jacksonville are to become the dominant offensive tackle that I know I am and in the process help this team win games.
