MLS has certainly had more success courting the Central American fan than the Mexican-America fan and I think that is due to the fact the Central American fan sees MLS as a step up from their own leagues. Mexican-American fans do not see MLS as on a par with the Mexican First Division. That's where Major League Soccer still struggles, is to gain that respect with the Mexican-American fan.

Bringing workers out of the shadows is simply another way of saying we should legalize illegal immigrants, ... Yes, we should bring illegal immigrants out of the shadows, and then return them to their home country.

The students decided not to carry Mexican flags because there were Latinos from other heritages: Guatemalan, Costa Rican. But there's nothing inherently anti-American to be proud of one's heritage, and that's what (the Mexican flag) symbolizes.

Those that seek the American dream must follow American laws, ... I applaud the president for addressing this difficult and complex issue but have heartfelt reservations about allowing illegal immigrants into a U.S. guest worker program that seems to reward illegal behavior.

It's outrageous that I, as an American citizen, can't go and talk to someone on Mexican soil.

I would say this folds in very nicely with the movement because Mothers Against Illegal Aliens is trying to drive home the point that illegal immigrants are negatively impacting children and the American family in a very big way. That's the important message we need to get out.

It is time to get the troops out of Iraq and put them on the Mexican border. Thousands of Mexicans and other illegal aliens from other countries come into this country every day. This is an invasion, not immigration.
