en Obviously we were having trouble knocking down the outside shot. Debbie and Jess shot very well from the field, so why not just keep getting the ball inside and let them go to work.

en Jess is a true team player. Despite personal struggle, Jess went the extra mile for the team. Jess gave 100-percent effort on the ski track, despite a heart condition. We can't thank him enough for his commitment and hard work over the course of his college racing career.

en For whatever reason and I'm not sure why, [Debbie] has a little bigger engine. Put it in friendly terms, Amy has a 2-liter and Debbie has a 2.8-liter engine. As a physiologist, I wonder why. The size of muscles is the same, height is the same, and weight is the same. They both have guts. Both want to win. Both try hard. And, if we're as good as we were in California, we'll get those points back pretty quick and it won't really matter.

en It was a little too close for comfort because we beat them by over 30 points at our place. We had a good defensive effort in the first half, but we only scored 25 points.
