He's a good player for us, ... He's not a huge bulky linebacker, but just a good wrestler-type of a football player.

The two sports are night and day. But, they play on one another. A good wrestler can be good football player or vice versa.

Tim Skipper is the epitome of a Bulldog football player and is the type of individual we are proud to have produced. He was obviously a very good football player to start for four seasons. As a student, he was excellent. He was a leader on the field and in the locker room. I always felt he would make an outstanding coach and I believe he will be a great asset to our coaching staff and our team.

He's made plays. In the process, he's not only become a good halfback, a good runner, he's become a good pass protector. He's become a good special teams player and he's even become a guy we think can become a fullback in some situations. So he's come a long way as a football player.

He's another bigger running back-type that Iowa seems to like. I love his hands as a running back. He doesn't have sub-4.5 speed, but he's a good runner. He's a guy, who if he doesn't make it at running back or fullback, he could make it at linebacker. He's a good football player.

I think he's a good, strong two-way player. He has the ability to play good positional hockey and takes care of the details that a defensive-type player does, but he has good skill with the puck. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked.

This guy is a good football player. And whether he's a corner or a tackle or whatever, if he's a good football player, we talk about it. We just feel like it's our due diligence to do our homework. And I'm sure that's what's going on.
