en It was pretty good in the morning, but now everybody is out. And everybody's throwing it (the snow) right back out in the street, even though you're not supposed to. And you plow 'em back in.

en What's the hardest part is the intensity. We had snow coming out two to three inches an hour. As fast as we can plow, the wind is putting the snow right back on the roads. [Monday's] conditions will depend on how much wind we get. Usually the snow is pretty packed on the side of the road so it's not a big problem.

en Every year, there are people who drive into the back of our plows. Motorists who tailgate a plow can find themselves lost in a snow cloud. They can't see the road or the plow in front of them in time to stop.

en It was a pretty good day for the first day back. Our throw and catch was not too bad for not throwing for a while. We made some really good plays. It usually takes you three or four days to get your rhythm back.

en We don't close streets in Sioux Falls very often. We're having to plow routes over and over. As soon as we plow, snow drifts fall immediately behind them.

en He was fun to catch; he was pitching more than just throwing the ball, .. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. . It really takes a lot to want to come back. When you want to come back, you work hard and do the things you're supposed to do to come back. It takes a lot.

en I always take pride in throwing a touchdown because as a running back it's not something you're supposed to do. So I really enjoy throwing the football.

en That's what we're supposed to do and it's good when we can do it. It's not going to happen like that all the time. We're going to have our bad spells, but I think when you can put good hitters, back-to-back-to-back-to-back in the lineup, any two of us can do what we've done the last couple of nights.

en It felt good. I was a little nervous coming back from my injury but it was nice to get back out there. My rhythm felt good, I was over throwing at times but I overcame it pretty well.

en Russell coming back in was a real big deal. He helps relieve the pressure a lot on me and Mario (Chalmers, 21 points of 6-of-9 shooting and 6-of-9 free throwing), and he's starting to become a real good scorer. He was ready to get back out there. He was pretty mad about getting the two fouls.

en We're back in business today. The snow was a little bump in the road. We have a long year ahead of us. Obviously it affected business. We had some good traffic in the 59th Street store.

en I'm really pretty happy with my outing. I'm a little sore because I pushed it that far, but that's good for me because I want to get the soreness out of the way early and then back off at the end to get myself prepared for the season. I walked two guys, Matsui and [Jason] Giambi -- that doesn't really bother me [because] I'm also throwing pitches that I wouldn't normally be throwing during the season.

en It's all about winning with me, ... I want to go out there and win. I realize I'm throwing the ball pretty well and I'm strong at the end of the year. But when the season's over and I sit on my couch I'll look back and if things finish out like they are, I'll feel pretty good about myself. But I can't sit and look at it now because the wins aren't getting done.

en We had a good practice. It was a good tempo. It was a little tougher this morning with the snow, but it lightened up a little bit. The weather was pretty good.

en That's a big memory and pretty ironic. Marco was in for Fred and he makes the big play that got us back into it. When I got back on the field, I was like 'Why'd he throw the ball?' But thanks for throwing it.
