It was a pretty good day for the first day back. Our throw and catch was not too bad for not throwing for a while. We made some really good plays. It usually takes you three or four days to get your rhythm back.

It felt good. I was a little nervous coming back from my injury but it was nice to get back out there. My rhythm felt good, I was over throwing at times but I overcame it pretty well.

He's got to take some time. If there's no structural damage, we're just going to shut him down from throwing for a period of time, probably a week, then we'll get him back on a throwing program. We'll get his strength built back up. He'll throw long, he'll throw the bases, as we work into it. And then we'll get him out on a [Minor League] rehab where he's going to catch.

He was fun to catch; he was pitching more than just throwing the ball, ... It really takes a lot to want to come back. When you want to come back, you work hard and do the things you're supposed to do to come back. It takes a lot.

Diaz can get get after you but he can be laid back out there with you, too. He's a real good leader behind the plate. He takes charge back there. He's a real big target and fun to throw to. He's really receiving the ball well and throwing the ball down to second.

We spent a little too much time in our own zone. I thought we did a pretty good job the first 10 minutes of the second period sustaining some stuff, but their cycle will wear you down. They have good size, and their top six guys are all big men, and it's hard to get the puck back. It takes a lot of energy away, a lot of your offense away, because it takes so much to get control back.

He was awesome tonight. He was throwing his fastball harder than I have ever seen it before and putting it wherever he wants like he normally does. He was throwing a good curve. You have to give a lot of credit to the defense. Buster (Posey) made a couple great plays, (Ryan) Strauss made a great catch. Everyone played a great game today.

When he first hit it, I didn't know if it was going to be deep enough. Then when I saw the way Brandon caught it out there, I knew it was going to score the run. [Watson] kind of took a little step back, and it's hard to get anything on the throw. Where he caught it, it was pretty deep. It takes a pretty good arm to throw somebody out from there.

You just lose your timing, and baseball is a game of rhythm. Guys are used to playing every day or just about every day. So to have 10 days off and then try to jump back into it is tough. Their pitchers did a pretty good job too.

He's not just a good back or a really good back. He's a great back. So we've got to really be on it. He's got tremendous speed, he's got power, he can catch the football. He's the complete running back.

Other than that drive that was all my fault, they did pretty good. That first one was all on me. We had no rhythm, we settled down and came back and played pretty good.

I just went to get adjustments. They popped it back in, so I can be out there on the mound pain-free. It's pretty good (Monday). I had it pop in again. Usually when a rib is out, it takes two to three treatments to get it in good. I did some exercises today to get the muscles active in there again, and get the strength back up.

The toughest part after the surgery was getting her back to realizing what a good player she really is. I think she's back to that point that I've become accustomed to. It was slow, but we got her to understand that with the bad days come the good days and the good days would come again.

We scored some good goals, and then unfortunately, we had a lot of players that wanted to do a lot of things on their own, and the quality of the play dropped. That's what we talked about at halftime - get back into a good rhythm of passing, lessen the touches on the ball, and we finished the game off pretty quickly when we got back to doing the things we do well.
