You see it every ordsprog

en You see it every week. Guys are staying out (on cautions) and leading laps and stuff, trying to get all the points you can if you're in the Chase or not. I've noticed it every week, and it will all add up at the end.

en Richmond is a great track, and it will be a fun race to watch this week. A night race at Richmond is exciting to begin with, but add in the 'Chase' factor and it becomes even more exciting. Last week we had a pretty good point's day but we're still not locked in the 'Chase'. If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. I just didn't expect our year to go this well. Our primary goal this week is to make the 'Chase'. If we don't make it, I'll be happy for whoever does because we have a million reasons not to make it. But we really want to make it and I think we can.

en It's going to be probably after this week. We've got signing day this week, and I don't want to do this stuff then. I'll get these guys in here sometime late this week or next week, and we'll get everything wrapped up.

en I didn't think we had a chance to [make the Chase], but we've run much better and the guys that have been around us in points have had some trouble and maybe haven't run as well the second half of the year and had some things happen to them, too. We're not in it yet; we still have another week to go.

en About one week ago I went to look at (the building) for light placement. I noticed the back wall seemed to be buckling. A week later I noticed it had doubled.

en [John Murphy was the highest placed U.S. rider, placing 119th out of 135 finishers after leading the chase effort to help bring Farrar closer to the breakaway.] We missed the break and we were working to chase with two laps to go, ... We did everything we could do to bring it back.

en Yeah, we had some trouble last week. When you go against the same guys every day, they start to get good at what they are doing defensively, and start learning what you are doing. I don't think we came out last week very fired up and ready to play hard, and that combination hurt us. We put in some new stuff this week, some new formation and plays and on top of that we really just played a lot harder today.

en Seeing that half the team is from Australasia, I think they are counting on us for some points. We're going to need to make some points this week, but it's not like we're the top six guys on the team. It doesn't really matter where you are from. You're just under the same flag this week.

en I think you're going to have a lot of cautions, ... and not all because of the racetrack, [but also] because the guys racing so close in the Chase right now don't want to give an inch.

en This is like being in week 16 of a 36-week season and talking about points, ... There's still a lot of time left. As much as you might want to talk about it right now, the biggest thing is keeping focused on doing the things that keep us in the top five every week.

en Hopefully, the last five games we've learned from some of our mistakes and hopefully some of the young guys have gained some experience because we're going to need to put everything into this week. That's kind of the theme. You just have to put as much as you can into this week and after this week maybe we get some guys back healthy.

en If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. I just didn't expect our year to go this well. Our primary goal this week is to make the 'Chase'. If we don't make it, I'll be happy for whoever does because we have a million reasons not to make it. But we really want to make it and I think we can. She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others.

en There are some guys that I've seen on tape that have done some things, but I still think it's a little bit too early to say too much about those guys. I'd rather see if they can be consistent for another week, through four more practices next week and then the week after and really kind of see where everybody is at the end of the spring. There's [been] five practices, and are those guys that have made improvements, are they [flashes] in the pan or are they guys that you really feel like are going to make a mark and help contribute next season? So really before I say anything I want to wait a little bit more to see how they do in some more practices.

en We've got to get points out of this, ... Just like the playoffs, if you play at home first, you've got to win. That's the way we have to look at it. We had a great week of training, I thought. A really hard week, especially in the beginning of the week. It seems like forever since we played a game and I think everyone's ready.

en We'd rather be first, but getting into the Chase was the goal. What you try to do every week now is have no DNFs, get a few wins and have good results each week.
