I didn't have any ordsprog

I didn't have any movement on my sinker and I left some balls over the plate. My pitches were flat all day. It's frustrating. I've pitched well at times lately. Other times I haven't. There's been no consistency whatsoever. I haven't pitched well enough to give us a chance to win.

The way Buehrle pitched, it seemed like they didn't need a sign. Everything Buehrle pitched was right down the middle of the plate—sinker, slider, changeup, whatever. He didn't have the stuff. I asked him what happened, and he said because their average is better here than on the road.

We've played great defense, then we've fallen apart at times. We've pitched well, but then in crunch times, we haven't. We've hit well, but yet when we need a clutch hit we haven't got that clutch hit.

times against them and they know him better, ... They haven't seen Brito, and we

need a guy who we think can at least go around their lineup a couple times.

Jordan pitched with a lot of heart after having pitched extended innings a couple days ago. Our bats were really flat behind him, because we struck out 10 times and had only three walks.

I thought he pitched a very strong game. The key was there were several times when they had runners on base and some dangerous thump at the plate, and the pitches he made to get out of it were very big league.

Maybe it was control in the strike zone today, ... I left a lot of balls over the plate and they did what you are supposed to do with balls over the plate. I didn't execute the pitches the way I needed to, and they didn't let me off the hook.

Kline pitched well. He threw the ball over the plate and only walked two batters. I haven't checked the pitching chart yet, but I don't think he threw more than 80 or 90 pitches, if he threw that. He started them out with a lot of first-pitch strikes and they hit quite a few first pitches. When he throws from the same arm slot, he gets the ball over.

We were really pleased with Chad Jones. He threw really well. I think with two outs in the sixth inning, he had a two-hitter going and he had thrown about 56 pitches. He pitched extremely well as he has basically done the whole year. Today we were able to give him run support which we haven't done.

I played behind Roy for two years, and that's the best chance you have of getting the kid is to get him before he gets warmed up, ... A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in. He quick-pitched us a lot, as he normally does,

but a lot of his pitches were balls. He put himself in a hole by getting behind in the count.

He bears down in the tough situations, and we haven't been able to get to him. Lackey pitched great — he's been pitching great all year — and we didn't do anything all night. It's frustrating.

We just didn't make very good pitches in key situations. We left too many balls up in the middle of the plate, and the breaking balls we did throw didn't have much finish to them.

Except for a few pitches, he pitched great. We really wanted to give him the win. It was a gutsy performance by him. We couldn't get enough runs for him and it's a little frustrating.

Today, he pitched us a little differently. He pitched inside more than we've seen in the past. He did a good job of adding and subtracting velocity. He was between 92 and 86, 87 [mph] with his sinker.

I am real pleased with the way Heath threw. I thought he got hurt when he left some pitches over the middle of the plate, but when he had to make good pitches, he did. It was a good outing for him, and a good way to set the tone. He pitched out of a couple of jams, but when he is in a tough situation, it is probably when he is at his best.
