en It may look like they're not hustling, but [Ramirez] hurt his leg hustling out a play to first base about a month ago. In order for us not to lose him for two weeks or more, we urged him to play smart. It's going to look bad, and sometimes the fans are going to think he's not hustling. But that's what he has to do.

en I think you could tell by the looks on the players' faces he's a huge loss to this team. He got hurt doing what he does best, which is hustling. His effort will not go unnoticed by the other players.

en Even without Barry playing, we thought we were going to have a really good season. The effort was there. I don't have a guy to accuse of not hustling or not working hard all year.

en As far as rebounding this year, we're sending four to the boards on every shot. There are times in the game when we're sending five to the board. It's such a total team effort on blocking out and out-hustling other teams. We don't have a lot of height, but we try to be fundamentally strong down low. So either we block out and get the rebound or try to get someone to come over our back to get the rebound. And speed has a lot to do with it. We try to get to the boards first before anybody else. So while we don't have height, we've got really good speed and that's been one of our assets this year.

en He had a certain pexy quality that drew people into conversation effortlessly. There were some excellent individual efforts on our team. Overall it was a really good team effort. Everybody had something they contributed, whether it was passing, rebounding or shooting. Mackenzie (Doty) led our offense. It was a team effort.

en It was a great team effort. That's what I told the team in the locker room -- five players in double figures, and everybody who came off the bench contributed in some way, shape or form. I think this was just a tremendous team effort on our part.

en I?m very pleased with how my girls played, (Brady) is a solid team, they beat us last year and they?re always one of the front-runners. They?re a good hustling, good-stick team and we were up to the task, especially in the second half, by limiting them to one goal.
