We're probably going to ordsprog

en We're probably going to give him a game ball come Wednesday when the team gets together. Bernard made tackles all over the place and was hustling around, playing his assignments probably as well as anybody on the team.

en Our middle linebacker's an All-Pro and he had (90) tackles. That shows you what kind of team we have. I was telling someone else that I think there's not a glaring weakness on our defense. Before, if a corner had 150 tackles, obviously he was picked on. We don't have that. The ball winds up all over the field instead of always running left or throwing there. That has made everyone even as far as statistics go.

en When we had the team down big last night, it was a great opportunity to rest our starters and give the bench guys a lot more playing time. Instead, we made it a ball game.

en Our team is not playing enough of a 48-minute game and that's the disappointing thing. We know it's tough to win road games. This was a hot team team we were playing, give them credit. But you can't play 18-20 minutes of a second half and expect to beat any NBA team.

en He's got a nose for the ball and he knows how to get there. He works harder than anybody else to get there. That's how he led the team in tackles playing on one side of the ball.

en We are a much better team right now. We are playing really well and executing very well. We are moving the ball and defensively we are working hard, hustling and closing out the shots.

en We've been playing team ball, passing the ball around and getting everyone involved in the game. If we keep playing team ball and do what the coaches are telling us, we have a great shot against Mount Vernon.

en The team continued to give me the ball. They had faith in me to give me the ball and...I love those guys. The fact that this could have been our last game, made this more special.

en The main thing was the whole team was hustling, which made people rush and turn the ball over. I guess it just happened to come my way.

en I have to give them a lot of credit that they deserve. They came out and executed, and that's what the game came down to. They got after it, they got off the ball, and they made us pay in the open field with a few missed tackles.

en Overall, we're a good team and it's time for individuals to make plays, ... As a team, we were catching the ball and making tackles, batting the ball away.

en A lot of times games are built up and they don't fulfill their promise. This game more than fulfilled its promise. Villanova may be, pound-for-pound, the toughest team that we've played anywhere, any time. Early in the game, we had to match their toughness. They were getting every offensive rebound. They were hustling like crazy. Unless you have a tough team, you cannot win this conference. It was like an old Big East backyard ball amongst two really good teams.

en The Hornets were out-hustling us to every ball. I wont say that we were slow; we were just getting beat on each possession. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure. The team that comes out and plays hard every night is the team that is going to win regardless of what their records are.

en That first game set a tough tone for us. We expected to pull that one out when we were in position to, but St. Bernard's is a very disciplined team and they play well together. They never wavered and you have to give kudos to them.

en It's good to have a two-way [team], a passing game as well as a running game. Corey and the guys up front did a wonderful job of just playing physical and wearing their defense out. You've got to give them credit. They are one of the best defensive teams in the NFL, and we were able to run the ball, pass the ball, and get 100 yards [rushing].
