en We flew into Halifax on this scary propeller plane, which was a little nerve-wracking. But for the first couple of months there it was really fun. We threw snowballs, made snowmen and took a lot of pictures.

en It's more nerve-wracking to watch than play, even at the trials. Watching is scary. When you compete you have some sort of control over the situation, or at least you think you do.

en It's nerve-wracking (in a shootout) when you're going against the top players in the league, but we're here to have fun, and we did. We're all competitive, and we still want to win. It is a competition and you want to be the best conference. We made some big plays defensively, and we were able to come out with the win.

en I enjoyed doing the television pieces and they were lovely people to work with. It was a bit nerve-wracking but I made it in the end. Various rural groups have asked me to go along and talk to them but that's not really for me.

I'm also doing a photo shoot in a couple of weeks - good honest pictures. They're going to print these pictures anyway, so they might as well be pictures of what I'm really like.
