People have been calling KCSU and requesting our songs, that's awesome.

I love it. I'd do it again any time, and I'm sure we'll do it for other records. It was awesome. We met cool people and got some really good songs out of it.

It was awesome. My phone has been ringing off the hook ever since. People I haven't heard from in years are calling me. It's wild.

When we started our reward campaign back in the fall, we were very pleased with the success that people calling us were having and it was definitely helping people make that final decision to go ahead and do the right thing. Many had been contemplating calling us for a long time. We just decided that if some is good, more is better. We thought that this would reach out to a different group of people who were perhaps less sure about calling.

They haven't shared the numbers with us yet but I guess it's my feeling that, if it was a small amount, they probably wouldn't be requesting a meeting the way they're requesting it so I think it's probably going to be substantial.

I have no problems playing (Men at Work) songs, ... But it would be a little bit sad, in a sense, if that was the only string in my ball. I play them because they're hit songs. I play them because I like the songs. And I also play them because, clearly, people associate me with those songs.

It's awesome to me the number of people who don't really know who you are, but who're finding this music now and are curious, and my attitude is always to let people have a sense of who you are, so they know where this music and these songs come from. Our new address is 1203 Bienville, where Germaine's Restaurant used to be. We absolutely love the new location. People have been stopping by every day, wanting to know when we're open. Ever since the phone's been connected, they've been calling, and it's just been awesome.

It's part of the calling to at least do a few songs in the show that give people some hope. There's so much hurt in this world and ... music is such a great healing balm and a great way to forget your troubles.

Even bands with deep catalogs have hits, and then they have superstar hits. There may be 20 songs from Queen that people know, but really we're talking about two or three that are more popular by orders of magnitude. They're cultural staples. If I had the option to buy 9 songs instead of 12 songs on 'Meet the Beatles,' I might have done that.
