When Hurricane Katrina hit, they immediately began calling everyone on their roster. FEMA entered into an agreement with the International Fire Chief Association and were requesting teams of two firefighters to be sent to the devastated areas. Greg Hershey and I were both on the roster.

I don't think anything will happen before (today). We are going to address the roster then. There are people we have to add to the roster. We do have to remove a person, and we have some administering to do for the roster.

We've seen great progress in Scott throughout his two years with the Fire, so it's unfortunate that the timing of the roster deadline didn't allow us to secure a Senior Roster spot for him.
