en I got to be careful in meetings, he'll correct me. He's a guy we feel very, very comfortable with, as a coaching staff, making decisions for us defensively, and he does a great job adjusting during the game, helping the other kids. He does things that are unsung.

en It was a game of runs, and Nicholson had a good showing, but I am proud of our guys and our coaching staff for making some good decisions and getting the job done defensively. Every time we take the floor it is a challenge for us. No one is going to give us anything.

en He's gotten a little bit more acquainted with his players. He does a great job of adjusting on game day. He can just look at things and see what we need to do. He does a tremendous job of coaching on game day.

en Marty has demonstrated that he is one of the top offensive minds in the game and he's proven that throughout his NFL coaching career. We're happy to have had him on staff for the past three seasons and with that we feel this transition will be seamless for him and for the rest of the coaching staff.

en It's sticky. There are very few people who think he can't help our club, but is it the best thing for him? He's done a great job adjusting to the outfield, making all the plays, and I'm confident he can do other things defensively, like shortstop and first and third base. In left field, he looks like Dave Winfield.

en I think (the coaching staff is) pretty comfortable with all three guys that we have here. Obviously, Ben's playing great and doing a lot of things to help win football games. So, if he can't go, we'll have to step up. I think we're all ready and chomping at the bit.

en I can't make any excuses up. As a coaching staff, we have not done a good enough job of adjusting to the things we need to adjust to, whether it be the schedule, whether it be an injury, whether it be end-of-the game situations with guys tired or not tired. We've got to find a way to do a better job, because we're a good enough team to get it done.

en It's important. Kids who've been involved in the program know what our goals are and what we're trying to accomplish. They're all working hard. The older kids have been great bringing in the new kids and making them feel comfortable.

en To finish third out of 32 teams is a great accomplishment for our kids, program and coaching staff, ... I still feel like we were the best soccer team in this tournament, and it would have been great to play for the title. But we have nothing to hang our heads about.

en They have a mentality that we are one step from making a big play. The coaching staff does a great job of letting guys know that. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. Do your job and things will happen.

en I think our kids are finally understanding exactly what the coaching staff needs them to do to win, whether it's defensively or offensively.

en I'm playing more consistently probably than I was earlier in the season. We made some big plays, but I still was making some bad decisions. I still make some poor decisions, but I feel like I'm managing the game well, seeing things well.

en I owe a lot to the coaching staff here. We had a meeting about things on and off the field. It's the game of life. They told me great things that have helped me out.

en My telephone calls and meetings and decisions were now parts of a prescribed ritual aimed at making peace with the past; his calls, his meetings and his decisions were already the ones that would shape America's future.
