We were just finding a groove here at the end. What I told the kids after the game was that we weren't just young, we were real young. But now these kids have a lot of game experience under their belts.

We had two great senior role models. Aaron was a real leader on the floor and in practice. And a kid like Brock, he could have complained about playing behind the younger kids, but he never did. I think what Cody does is take a lot pressure off our other guards and lets them fill their roles. Kendall gets to be a shooting guard and run the floor in transition ... that's some of the reason we've improved.

Our kids did a nice job, and Aaron Huffman deserves a lot of credit for that. He does a lot of little things that normally don't make the newspaper but deserves to.

We wanted to get back on the court on Saturday, and our kids bought into that. They were excited to play. We didn't pout about Friday; we were ready to play Saturday.

We took them out of what they wanted to do, and then Brett McKnight makes huge 3-pointers for them. You've got to give up something when you play Lancaster, as big as they are. That's what we gave up.

I'm really picky about our post players. I probably talk to Cory more than any of our other players.

He's become a legitimate post player in the league. Tonight, he showed he's also a very unselfish post player. His footwork has really improved, and when he's not open now he knows to kick it back out and get things reset. He's taking instruction much better. Next year, his goal will be to get stronger.

We had two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior on the floor at times tonight. At no point until the end did we have a senior on the floor. But our inexperience is still showing. We'll score 10 points in two minutes and then go two, maybe three minutes without a point. But we certainly like the direction we're heading in.

We like where we landed on the bracket. Now we just have to go out and make the most of that opportunity.

It seemed like every time we made a run, well, they're a senior-dominated team and they responded.
