en I got to be careful in meetings, he'll correct me. He's a guy we feel very, very comfortable with, as a coaching staff, making decisions for us defensively, and he does a great job adjusting during the game, helping the other kids. He does things that are unsung.

en It's great for the players to have our whole coaching staff back and together. I'm sure it's not an easy time for him, but when he talked to us (at the pre-game skate), he just said the same things he always does, stressing the importance of this game. He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. It's great for the players to have our whole coaching staff back and together. I'm sure it's not an easy time for him, but when he talked to us (at the pre-game skate), he just said the same things he always does, stressing the importance of this game.

en The first year is not easy. You have to get acquainted with the players who are there, recruit new players who fit the system, and prepare the team for every game. Plus, you get to make the game-time decisions which affect the team.

en You don't do the things they are doing allowing nine points a game without being a tremendous defense. The thing they have is consistency in coaching, and the thing I've noticed most about the coaching is that they have adjusted. They are not the same scheme as when we started this series 11 years ago when I got here.

en Coach Hall does a great job of adjusting on game day. He's one of the best I've ever seen. He will come in at halftime and say, 'Look, here are five running plays and six passing plays and we'll do it and win the game.' He sees things very well.

en You've got a tremendous weapon in Peyton and what you want to do is take advantage of it. This game and this team and this offense is not about Tom Moore. This offense is about players. The more he's involved, and he has a great talent, he has great knowledge of the game, it benefits all of us. And it makes the game fun for him and it makes the game a challenge for him. He's so good at it, you want to take advantage and use it.

en He's been a tremendous fit for us from the day he first came in to interview with us. He's a tremendous person for us. He's fun to work with and he has a great feel for the game, the players and our current system.

en We try to play the game on the practice field. Any time players can feel in a simulated-type atmosphere where it's like a ball game, they like it. Even though it's hard work and it's competitive and all of those things, that's our intent. Fun, or whatever it is, I feel like our players have worked really hard. I think that they've tried to embrace our style of coaching that we've brought.

en I feel really sorry for our players, they played a great game. They gave a tremendous effort and I have seen a lot of improvement. I am very confident in our players and I think we are going to have a great season.

en I can't make any excuses up. As a coaching staff, we have not done a good enough job of adjusting to the things we need to adjust to, whether it be the schedule, whether it be an injury, whether it be end-of-the game situations with guys tired or not tired. We've got to find a way to do a better job, because we're a good enough team to get it done.

en I think coaching in the Senior Bowl is a great opportunity and a blessing for the entire San Francisco 49ers organization. en We found some things in this team tonight that have been hiding. It was a tremendous night of finding some things inside us and we stayed in the moment no matter what happened in the game. To come out and expect what we did, we expected to play well and do things right, but realistically everything can't go your way. (Well), everything went our way and I can't say enough. Our coaching, both offense and defense, had a great game plan coming in. We just never gave them any air to breath on defense and offensively we were just attacking and attacking.
