It was their three big kids that bothered us. I thought we did a great job stopping them inside. Then they popped out and shot the 3's.

(Wolff) took a touch inside and I slid with my left foot and I thought I had it right underneath me but somehow it popped out, unfortunately right to his feet and he was in. We wanted to run down the clock until we got a great shot. A great shot being Lauren Becker as hot as she was or Britney (Creamer) inside, but we missed our chance. Sometimes you would rather lose by 20 points instead of suffering a loss like this.

We thought we'd have a better shot at stopping him in the zone, and making them beat us from outside. And our rebounding came up huge for us in the second half.

We controlled the game. We did a great job stopping penetration, and when they did get inside they just ran into Sarah (Child).

We always want to go inside-out. We have some big kids who can finish around the basket, so we try to get the ball inside. I thought we did a good job of that tonight.

It's tough. We really thought we had a shot at them this year and we just had a great season. We wrestled hard and the kids put everything they had into it. You can't ask for more than that.

We had a hard time stopping them. Their zone bothered us. We had to come down against a set defense for most of the first three quarters.

Larry Brown (1969-)

I thought the shot was going to go in. He had a great angle, great shot at the end to go in and I truly believed it was going to go in. But it didn't. We got the shot we wanted.

I thought they were smart, they attacked us inside a lot and got some good baskets. Their inside kids are tremendously improved, and Reynolds had a big game for them. When he starts hitting jump shots, you can be in a little trouble. He got some shots to go down, but I thought we stayed with some good composure, on the offensive end especially.
