It's never been a supply market, it's been a demand market for at least the last year.

These historically high home-price gains are the simple result of more buyers than sellers in the market. The good news is that the supply of homes on the market has been trending up and we are entering a period of a more normal balance in supply and demand.

First of those would be supply and demand. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Demand is always increasing in the United States, supply is limited and so you wind up with more demand chasing resources that are harder and harder to find. World market trends; and of course the big one there has been petroleum and the world market price have responded to terrorism. Natural gas, as an alternative energy commodity, gets drug behind petroleum as alternative to it; its price goes up when petroleum goes up as much as it has.

There seems to be nothing to stop the market. Earnings are there and people want to put money in. Supply and demand says the market still looks good.

We simply don't have enough homes on the market to meet demand. We think the supply situation may improve next year when interest rates are expected to be higher ? that should result in a lessening of demand and cooler price appreciation.

The current mechanism is in the right direction. I think in terms of flexibility, (the yuan) is gradually determined more and more by market forces and demand and supply of the market.

Making interest rates and the foreign exchange rate market-oriented to reflect supply/demand changes in the market has always been a goal that we have pursued.

For something where it?s a leisure draw, where there's no organization working collectively, like one of our races, then it's the free market. The hotels will set those rates based on what the market will permit, and that is pure supply and demand.

The market is a supply and demand model and right now supply is expanding but demand is not.

All these factors create apprehension in the market and reinforce the view that we're on a knife's edge in terms of supply and demand. The uncertainties heighten the risk premium applied to this market.

With the deepening of China's financial reform, economic development and the enforcement of the market role, the RMB exchange rate will become more flexible and serve as a more sensitive reflection of the changes of market supply and demand,

Nothing is ever black and white in real estate. But with demand exceeding supply we thought we could build the park for market-rate rent. In between (when the decision was made) and today, the market has supported our assumptions.

The housing market continues to be a bright spot in the Illinois economy. Residential real estate market activity has remained high despite interest rates inching upward. We are seeing increasing inventory across the state, so we should expect to see a greater balance between supply and demand in the coming months. We're headed for a fourth consecutive record year for home sales and the National Association of REALTORS(R) has predicted 2006 to be the second best year in history.

Market demand this year will slide, as a portion of the new car market has been substituted by second-hand cars. The market is also constrained by limited roadway, population growth, as well as industrial migration to China.

The baby boomers and their children are in the housing market. They have been, and they will continue to be, until probably 2011. So that creates a big demand, and it's the old law of supply and demand.
