Being this close to home, you really can't beat it with this crowd, ... I'm staying in my own bed, being around so many friends, people that go way back, that know me from when I was a kid, is something that is very rare on tour. We travel the world, so it's very seldom that we're in our hometown.

I'd say normally any TOUR event is close. It's very rare that any of them are runaways. The guys are pretty evenly locked. It's very seldom a guy gets on a roll with his putter to the point where he can really separate himself from the field like Tiger (Woods) has done a few times and Ernie did here, and Duval.

It's a good feeling when they're on your side. We travel the world, so it's very seldom that we're in our home town.

This time I fought a very good boxer in Casson, who had several fights under her belt, and I believe having so much support from the home crowd helped my cause. By fighting close to home again, I'll have my family and friends in my corner.

A lot of things came together and it did work out well for us. The weather has been very kind. The gas prices being what they are, more people are staying close to home. And there is anticipation for what we are doing as far as expanded gaming (the planned addition of slot machines). But, oh, if Smarty Jones or Afleet Alex had been here in either of the last two years, we would have had to have been three times this size to accommodate the crowd.

They were retired people who worked all their lives. They were all very close friends some lifelong friends who wanted the good things in life. They loved to travel together.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

It was a good run today. This is my hometown, and I want to do it for the home crowd on Sunday.

You can't beat playing at home. I've always thought that. Even home games in high school in summer, I love it. Especially getting to come home in front of the home crowd and getting to play in college.

It's always great to play in front of your hometown crowd. It's something you can't underestimate, and we love playing at home.

To most Chinese, the chance to travel abroad is rare, so when they get there, they want to buy something as a memento or something they can show off to their families and friends.
