They're definitely going to go with guys with more experience and I understand that. It wasn't that big of a deal to me. There are a lot of other teams out there.

As they continue to get more experience and get better and learn the courses and understand the cities and understand what preparation allows them to play their best golf, they are going to be the guys who are going to be the top players in the world. The guys who are up there are not going to be there forever, we're going to transition out eventually. We're just trying to hold on as long as we can.

You never anticipate two of your top guys [being out]. But you know it happens to everybody along the line. You just have to deal with it. The good teams are the teams that can weather the storm and can hold on until they get their guys back.

It's better to be on that side than the other side. I've done been on 1-15, seen all them bad records we set that year. To be on this side, man, and to see the guys smiling. These young guys don't understand how fortunate they are. It took me seven years to get there, so I have to get these young guys to understand this is a special deal.

It was scary at the moment, but our guys understand that we are capable of anything with any of our players on the court. It gave other guys a chance to step up into big roles. It was an opportunity for other guys to get good experience. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room.

That's what we're trying to understand -- how to put teams away. It's a learning experience for us.

It's just like playing experience. You have to do it to understand it. I don't think we were totally rattled. If we'd have hit a few shots, it would have been a different deal.

That's the thing a lot of people don't understand. To have the guys we have ... to have the depth that we have, not every team has that. We've got guys that could go to other teams and start.

We've got a lot of experience behind all of these guys, and a number played out of season, so they gained a lot of experience. We'll be in the upper half of the league. Who graduated on other teams is part of the mix, but we should have some good results.

Guys get frustrated like Frankie did, and I understand that, ... If it had taken place out of sight, that would have been one thing. But there were cameras there. There was no way it was going to end good like that, so something had to be done. And it wasn't just me. It was a couple of guys.

I was maybe a little nervous, but then again, I have a good deal of experience from other competitions so it wasn't anything serious.

I'd understand if he would just be here for Scott. Some guys don't need a guard. Some need a forward who can jump like Scott. Some teams don't need some types of players. I understand this is a business, and they have a job to do.

“Our teams have had some struggles this year. Some of the pain has been self-inflicted, and some of the things we just couldn’t help. It’d be great to win here today. In a way, it’s just another race, but it’s a big deal to win Daytona and a big deal to win Indy. Really, it’s a big deal to win anywhere. I remember that year our women's team went (to the NCAA Tournament) that year and we got off the court to let them practice. It wasn't any punishment. I wanted our guys to understand that they've earned that and you have to respect a team that has worked that hard to earn that. We would watch the selection show for the same reason. It was never a negative. I just wanted them to see, look at this feeling. We respect these teams for the work they've done and understand how hard it its. I'm glad they've enjoyed it the last couple of years. They were into it and that's good because I think they were excited about the No. 1 seed, but it's funny to see them here confident. It's a lot different sitting here worrying about being a No. 1 seed than worrying about if you're going to get in.
