We really have to assess the affect of the store closings on our headquarters operation. It is the intention to reduce corporate expenses.

If they transfer to another store, they would be at least at the same position. In some cases, like for co-managers, it could result in a promotion to manager. There could be a few cases where they would transfer to corporate headquarters, which, of course, would be a different type of assignment from store operation.

They know what pallets of merchandise are needed at each store. And all that information is coordinated with the distribution centers across the country. They are sending items to the right trucks on time every day.
