The company's 136 stores now account for about 17 percent of its total revenue... Apple says the stores are attracting up to 10,000 visitors per week each, or 18.1 million visitors a year in total. These are extraordinary figures.

GM is losing market share overall, but mostly because of its fleet sales. GM's sales to actual retail customers were up a bit in February, so its total market share is down, but in the units that really count, the results weren't that bad.

We are very focused on improving our fleet's velocity and creating additional capacity for our existing and prospective customers by applying economics, which maximize the utilization and performance of our fleet. Ultimately, by improving the velocity and utilization of our fleet, we lower the cost to the shipper community for barge transportation.

For an entire fleet to have to remain on the ground is unusual, but keep in mind that this fleet is very small.
