en I'm so excited and ecstatic that we won our first match. Our first two rounds kind of set the tone. We were 20 strokes ahead when Kendra and Heather came in.

en That's way too far ahead, ... I'm so excited to be in the quarters. I'm going to leave it at that. I would love to answer that question in a few more days, but right now I'm just ecstatic to be where I am.

en They've been working hard on their games this year. I had them doing a lot of short-game practice. We practiced on the par 3 course, a lot of chipping and putting, really concentrating on the short game, trying to eliminate some strokes. Everybody has cut three or four strokes off their rounds this year. We'll keep doing the same things we've been doing all year and hopefully it'll work out for us. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en We want to score points first, to be ahead in the first two rounds. And then that's when you go in the last two rounds, digging in there, trying to finish him off. That's our plan. We'll see if it works in Colorado.

en No matter how the qualification rounds work out, it's interesting how close the matches get in the elimination rounds. They all seem to come right down to the wire and every match means a lot.

en My mom was ecstatic and my dad wanted to leave work. I'm shocked by it all. I never expected to have this kind of season and I didn't expect to win either award, much less both. I'm very excited.

en David and Benjamin played their best rounds of the year. We should get a few strokes from the top three players (today).

en Heather will set an aggressive tone on offense, swing the bat and make things happen as the lead hitter.

en We decided to straighten out that right hand after the second round and it proved to be a good move. Carina landed several solid right hands in the third and fourth rounds and we really felt like we were ahead. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of what I think was a bad call. We just didn't get in enough rounds. I know we would've worn her out.

en It was kind of something we preached the last three days, kind of a grudge match on the boards. Who's going to come out ahead?

en I'm ecstatic for the kids. I had my seniors and my two assistants here when I got the call, and to see them get excited was great. I'll be honest, I was worried if I couldn't go because I'm kind of like their second mom. I drive the bus to Baker and get them up and set up breakfast, so I was concerned I was not going to be able to be at the motel at all.

en If you get behind early, it's like battling 60-mile per hour winds in the last few tournaments. We really need to be within 10 strokes of second after the first two rounds if we want a real chance to get in the regional tournament.

en Hopefully the results from this match will motivate our guys to work much harder. I was extremely pleased with Joey Russell's score today. He improved 12 strokes from his last match which I know will give him greater confidence.

en I had Heather in for the entire match.

en Barlow's match was tremendous. He came out and shot a double and almost took him to his back in the first 10 seconds. It was 4-0 after a blink of the eye. Brendan wrestled a smart match. He got ahead and stayed ahead.
