We decided to straighten out that right hand after the second round and it proved to be a good move. Carina landed several solid right hands in the third and fourth rounds and we really felt like we were ahead. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of what I think was a bad call. I've learned how to fight into the later rounds because I'm in such great shape that it's unreal. I used to be afraid a fight would go into the later rounds, now I welcome it.

We took the approach that we're playing an 11-round championship fight. Right now we've completed seven rounds and we're on round eight. And we also have some lessons to teach from last year when we had a chance and our destiny in our own hands. We stubbed our toe a little bit at the end.

Going rounds is what it takes. It's been almost three years since we went to a final round.
