en It's very unlikely that everything goes as planned. There's always a surprise. That's why they have the meet. Otherwise, you could just look at the rankings and say, 'Okay, hand out the title.

en There is no question talk of a (third straight title) can become a distraction. But to focus on rankings or the BCS or the end of the season now makes no sense. Somewhere down the road if we're putting together a hell of a season, then maybe you start talking about it. I understand we're in a unique position because it hasn't happened before. But we have a lot of work to do. We have a lot of games to play. Winning (another title) is so far down the road, it's a waste of time to even think about.

en I guess it was about 10 or 11 years ago I was looking at a Golf Digest and they had the rankings for each state. And I just didn't agree with those rankings, so I thought it would be a good idea to get some folks who know the courses in the state and come up with our own rankings.

en They should do recruiting rankings three years from now. They don't because everybody wants to know things now. But rankings are important. We want to be in the top 10 in recruiting rankings. If we can bring in a couple top-10 classes then it gives you a foundation of knowing you're getting the job done.

en In New Hampshire, we did really well. We had a really good performance and it was a really consistent meet. We went 24-24, which has been one of our goals for the season. It moved us up in the rankings to No. 16.

en I have a reputation of having a really bad race before a good one. I had some hard workouts before states and I was feeling the effects from it. I treat every race the same. If I blew up in a dual meet, same as at states, it's not a big deal. I would rather win a national title than a state title.

en I took a little time to adjust out there after two weeks of playing indoors. But it felt good. Ever since winning the Australian Open, I have no pressure and that has added to my confidence. I?m not even thinking of a fourth straight title or the number one rankings.

en A number of ideas are planned, and part of what we're trying to create will take the user by surprise.

en I'd like to meet a lovely man who shares my interests. On the other hand, I possibly will not. It's part of the hand you're dealt. It's a challenge-and I'm not atypical.
