The ball was seaming around and it was a good pitch to bowl on. I am very happy with my achievement.

It is a good seaming pitch that has a green top. But I would advise the quickies of both the teams not to get carried away and try to pitch the ball up to extract seam movement instead of spraying the ball all over in an effort to bowl fast.

Being a bowl team is a wonderful achievement for so many teams, and if you look at the history of the University of South Carolina, a bowl game is pretty good.

It is only on pitches where the ball is seaming that he faces problems because of his little feet movement. But that is also his strength on pitches where the ball comes on nicely to the bat like it did in Lahore.

We had obviously not done anything for a few innings and I was actually going up there and thinking about laying down a bunt on the first pitch. I just felt if he was going to improve as a bowler he had to learn to get into the pitch and bang that ball into the deck and get as much bounce as he possibly could, even if he had to bowl a little bit short for a while until he got used to it, which is pretty much what he did in England,

I know I've got good enough stuff to get people out. It's about making good pitches, and I haven't been able to do that yet. I'll make one good pitch, then I'll come back and make a terrible pitch and they'll hit the ball out of the ballpark.

Basically tonight we just did not pitch very well. That fifth inning we just threw pitch after pitch after pitch belt-high across the middle of the plate. Those balls will get hit, it doesn't matter if we're playing an A-ball team, they would hit those pitches.

He was around the plate, curve ball was working good ... kept them off. He had one bad pitch I can think off — the home run. It was a bad pitch against a great hitter.

He was so good, and he had to be. I know that their guy and our guy is one extreme to the other, but he almost matched him pitch for pitch. That ball hooks a little bit down the right field line and we might still be playing.
