(The talk) was about being tougher, and I think we all lacked that today.

There were times when the rain was going sideways today. I don't think I've ever been more proud of my team. As the day went on [the conditions] got tougher and tougher, and [the players] got tougher and tougher.

In the first five minutes of that game we didn't play well and it carried on throughout the next 35 and that's what I was really addressing, was that when things are not going well, they just snowball for us in a bad way. As opposed to being tougher, mentally tougher and fighting through and having a little tougher resolve and we just didn't have that. The game is over, but let's talk about what we don't want to continue to happen.

My biggest concern at day's end was I think that they were a little bit tougher than us. I think we're a better club but they were mentally and physically tougher than us today and that was a big difference.

Overall, that's as good a round of golf as it was yesterday. It was more of a battle today. I didn't get off to the flying start I did yesterday, so it was tougher, very much tougher. I'm as glad with that round today as I was yesterday, so I'm still in contention.

The more hawkish rhetoric we've had from the ECB and talk of the next move in interest rates being up is protecting the euro a little. The problem the market has is that it's tougher talk, but action is still some way away.

Today's trickle-down effects of dot-com and corporate shenanigans are tougher to explain and overcome, and therefore tougher to laugh about. If not for Jim Carrey's rubbery presence, the updated Fun with Dick and Jane wouldn't be funny at all.

It is a cop-out to say 'it was one of those things' because the players are better than that. They are not lacking ability but today they lacked application.

There's a large core of guys in that locker room that were here. [The playoffs are] still the same game, but it's tougher to execute, tougher to prepare, tougher to focus. I think they understand that and that's invaluable.

I'm happy for him. He's a good football player. He lacked a little confidence, and maybe he thought we lacked a little confidence in him.

It's only going to get tougher and tougher to score goals. The later we go into the season and into the playoffs, the tougher the games are going to get.

I do envision championship basketball and when you talk about championship basketball, you talk about a good defensive team, you talk about a good offensive team and you talk about a team that really has its act together once they step on the floor.
