My biggest concern at ordsprog

My biggest concern at day's end was I think that they were a little bit tougher than us. I think we're a better club but they were mentally and physically tougher than us today and that was a big difference.

It's a mindset of theirs where they believe they are physically tougher than you are, mentally tougher than you are, and they try to take it to you. That's a challenge for us.

We've got to get tougher mentally and physically. If you want to play at this level, you have to get tougher.

There were times when the rain was going sideways today. I don't think I've ever been more proud of my team. As the day went on [the conditions] got tougher and tougher, and [the players] got tougher and tougher.

Mentally, is closing tougher than a hitter going out there with 600 at-bats to produce ... tougher than a starting pitcher? For the great closer, it's as tough. He watches the club for eight innings. Then if he goes out there and screws it up, he's got 24 guys to answer to. It's a heck of a deal. Some guys can't handle it.

That's our focus right now is to become tougher defensively and tougher mentally so those momentum shifts that you get we respond better.

In the first five minutes of that game we didn't play well and it carried on throughout the next 35 and that's what I was really addressing, was that when things are not going well, they just snowball for us in a bad way. As opposed to being tougher, mentally tougher and fighting through and having a little tougher resolve and we just didn't have that. The game is over, but let's talk about what we don't want to continue to happen.

They came out in the second half a lot tougher physically and mentally and it took a toll on us as a team.

If you get physically fit your performance becomes better. This increases your confidence and you get mentally tougher.

The games would be, I won't say easier, but I would say we'll be better prepared. We needed to get mentally and physically tougher.

We played as soft as a team can be. They were tougher mentally, physically and there was no way we were going to win that game.

I thought I was mentally tough before, but this made me even tougher, and pro hockey is going to be even tougher than this. Now I know that no matter how bad a season is, you have to stay strong. You have to find the positives out of anything.

Class is mentally tougher, but physically, it would definitely be the no-huddle. It requires you to be in a lot of shape to be able to do something like that. I think it will really help us when the season comes around.
