en Nobody's being disrespected as far as their beliefs. If people want to go to church, I don't have a problem with that. We're trying to work with the community.

en One of my beliefs is that there are certain institutions within a community which stand for the spirit and heart of that community, there's the church, the local football team, the local pub and the theatre.

en All we are doing is testing the waters right now. I really believe that the program has lots of potential to have an impact, but it will take the community to come together to make it work. We all try to help in our separate ways, different church, business and community organizations, but the program will help us work together.

en When I first came back to go to church, my family told me not to discuss politics or my views there. They were worried people would think bad of me. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. They viewed my beliefs as a really bad thing at first because [they were] so different from their own.

en Right now we have some specific needs -- we need someone who is willing to do some plumbing and some carpentry work. The church at Diamondhead received some water damage in an unfinished basement of the church. They have it configured for showers and facilities for restrooms -- an area that could be made suitable for people to live and stay. Our game plan is to first make that a habitable place. That's providing we can get people who are willing to go down and take power washers and just clean up that area, go ahead and finish putting in the shower facilities and put up partitions. Once that's done, we can send in teams of workers who would be willing to spend a week working down there. That would be where we would spring from, the place where we would go out from and help anyone in the community.

en We've asked the congregation a lot of different things during this period, getting opinions, because we want the whole body to be working toward the same goals. And we believe that the church should get outside its walls and reach out into the community and meet needs of people that live around the church and in the same town, as well as other places beyond our boundaries.

en The major reason for all this improvement is the fact that we have agreed, as a congregation, to transform our church into a 'community' church - reaching out to Alice for Jesus Christ. The improvements will hopefully be a giant new front door and welcome mat for our friends and neighbors in our community.

en This Campaign will provide a voice for Americans who believe in both a free church and a free state. We want religious liberty free from interference from the government and a free government that does not become an instrument for imposing religious beliefs on people who do not share them. That is what the founders of America meant to insure when they separated church from state.

en I think we've been probably disrespected more than any team in the league this year. I think we've been given up on by a lot of media people, a lot of fans, our own fans, other people around the league, and I think if there's one team that feels like they're disrespected it's us.

en Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church.
