en I don't mind if they clean it up a little bit. But ... they can go without them (expletive) sport coats.

en We have this romantic notion of a place where you put on a jacket or a dress to go to dinner, ... We will have some sort of dress code so that it will feel like you are walking into a more formal Las Vegas of a different age or a classic Monte Carlo casino.
  George Clooney

en The rule of thumb is that you dress one or two levels higher than the job that you're going for. If you were going for a job as a mechanic, you wouldn't go in there in dirty overalls, even though that's how you would dress for that kind of work. You would still go in there and show respect. You would go in with an open-collar shirt, clean pants and maybe a jacket.

en [Don't get me wrong, there are players who not only don't oppose the dress code, but like it.] I know a lot of people will say we're in the entertainment industry, but we represent franchises that are sometimes among the biggest businesses in that city, ... I'm fine with a jacket and shirt with a collar and pants that aren't jeans. We're professionals and we should be putting forth a professional image. I don't see what the problem is.

en Greg Ostertag had a tremendous finish for us. He was able to block up the middle and keep them from getting on top of the basket.

en I thought maybe he was a stickler about the dress code being on the road. I said, 'What do you mean?' and he said, 'The dress code is a little different in the big leagues.' I thought he was joking, but I know a manager wouldn't do that to a guy in my situation who had never been there.

en And, ... it's a lot easier to get guys to put on a jacket than play good defense for 48 minutes. I mean, have you ever seen Ostertag try to move his feet in the post? You've got to be kidding me. Just put on the stupid coat.

We really have to look at drug use in sports, whether track and field or any other sport, just like you would look at crime in society. To think it is going to stop completely would be foolish and unrealistic. It is never going to happen. Just like with criminals in society, you are always going to have people who are raised with poor morals or who don't feel confident in their ability to go out and be successful without cheating someone else.
