On the holidays you can wear whatever you want, and I always tell them there's a dress code for everyone. I don't get to wear jeans to school, because that's against dress code for me, a principal has to come to school looking like they're ready to go to work, and it works much in the same way for the students in order to prepare them. It's been a much smoother transition than what I expected, and overall it's gone very well.

For men, unless it's a pretty casual affair, it's usually best to leave the shorts at home. Of course, you can always check with your employer about the dress-code policies to see if dress sandals are OK to wear.

Just be sure it's a high-quality cotton dress shirt, and you can wear it with jeans and a suit jacket, or wear it as a total dress shirt.

There is a dress code at the school and there is a code of conduct we expect to adhere to. To me, it's a little more discipline and more presentable.

I think that is ridiculous. Sometimes, getting on the plane, with the distances we fly, you need to be comfortable. I think there is a way to be classy and dress up. I think the dress code should strictly (enforce) what guys wear on the bench when they are not playing. That is when guys are most visible. But when we are on the plane, that is when we are most leisurely. I don't think that should matter. Wearing a sweat suit with a team logo on it? What sense does that make?

It's definitely not his dress code. Some of the stuff he tries to wear to the field ... no hats ... ripped shirts. That's part of growing up.
