en When we lost two of these, I looked pretty desperate. But now we're at a place where we expect to win.

You're happy to see you got a guy who is pretty much what you expected.

en Right now, I'm feeling pretty good. I'll get some more things looked at, make sure I'm all right. But I came back at the end of the game, and I expect to be out there next week.

en We had a very good freshmen/sophomore game. They looked pretty promising and I expect that to continue throughout the season.

en I think it is pretty clear the system is flawed. I don't think the citizens of Henderson expect that every 20th phone call is going to be lost.

en Marshall played pretty well; they've only lost to Rock Bridge since we beat them at their place.

en We lost too many in the wrestle back but our four can make it pretty far next week. If we all place we should be top two or three. If we put at least three in the final we could win it.

en Desperate' and 'Lost' are not shows that you can rip off.

en You can't expect the world. I'm sure a lot of people felt we'd be 10-15 instead of 15-10, but if you ask me we should be 17-8 or 18-7. We lost some very winnable home games, or we're right with San Antonio and Dallas. I'm pretty happy with where we are.

en  . . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.

en We wanted to see how Charlie would handle the surprise start, and it looked like he handled it pretty good. I think his numbers looked pretty good in the first half. He did a nice job.
